Triple H Says Roman Reigns Is Bigger Than World Championship At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Post Show

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H believes that Roman Reigns has transcended to a point where he is bigger than a world title. Reigns was the last man to appear in the Men’s WarGames Match at the just-concluded Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event to a massive pop from the packed stadium.

At the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show, The Game was asked to comment on Roman Reigns’ larger-than-life persona. In response, Triple H went on to compare the OTC to The Undertaker when it comes to transcending the business, claiming that Roman is bigger than the world championship itself.

“He’s almost transcended to a point in the business where he’s bigger than the championship. He’s bigger than being a world champion. He is just a legend unto himself. I used to think that about Taker all the time. He just transcended the business in a way that you didn’t even need to talk about him in the title picture because he was epically in that circle. That is where Roman Reigns is right now. There is an aura about him and just something different,” he said.

Roman has made no bones about the fact that he is coming after a world title, though he has yet to reveal if he would be going after CM Punk or Cody Rhodes. When asked about the same, Triple H said:

When you have a star the size of Roman Reigns, he transcends the world title, he transcends the Royal Rumble, and he transcends the Elimination Chamber. Does he really need to qualify, or does he just call his shot? That’s a decision that we here in the WWE need to make very shortly. I have a feeling that one of those two guys, CM Punk or Cody Rhodes, is on a collision course with Roman Reigns. It’s going to be interesting to see where that goes.” [H/T: Fightful]

Roman did give a hint in the closing moments of Survivor Series: WarGames when he told Cody Rhodes that this was the last time they ever teamed up. Has the OTC set his sights on once again becoming Undisputed WWE Champion? Only time will tell.

"This is the last time we ever team. Just know that."
