Update on AEW Content Library Going to WBD’s Max Next Year
– With AEW programming coming to Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max streaming service later next year, it raises the questions about older AEW events and shows, and what will be available on the streamer. During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on AEW content on Max that will be available later on.
Meltzer reported that the pay-per-view library will be available on Max with the new media rights deal. Additionally, he stated, “All the AEW archives will be up on Max next year. They go to Max on January 1.” Meltzer noted that the entire archive won’t be available on Max immediately. Meltzer continued, “They will be slowly rolled out — as will the pay-per-views — will be slowly rolled out. But in time, yes, the entire library will be on Max.”
As previously noted, All Elite Wrestling PPV events will also stream live on Max later next year for a discounted rate.
