Will Ospreay Gives Update On Talks With Soft Ground Wrestling
Will Ospreay is a big supporter of Soft Ground Wrestling, and he recently gave an update on his conversations with the promotion. Ospreay has been vocal about his support for the Ugandan company and helped them buy their wrestling ring. He spoke with Adrian Hernandez recently and during the conversation he said that he has been in talks with them and just needs to find time in his busy schedule.
“I’m in talks with them, now we are working something out,” Ospreay said (per Wrestling Inc). “But it is just… it’s about finding time because I’ve got AEW, I’ve got my family, I need to find a little bit of time in between just to go over there but they ignite my passion, man.”
He continued, “Like, honestly, it reminds me of when we used to backyard wrestle in my garden and they don’t even have nearly the same equipment that we used to have in my garden … for me to be the best wrestler in the world right, I have to wrestle everywhere, I’ve never wrestled in Uganda I’ve got to go there.”
Ospreay is the AEW International Champion and will battle Swerve Strickland for the World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024.
