WrestleMania 42 Averaged 1.62 Million Viewers on ESPN2 for Night 1, 1.82 Million Viewers on ESPN for Night 2

WrestleMania 42 made its ESPN broadcast debut over the weekend, as the first hours of Night 1 and Night 2 were simulcast on ESPN2 and ESPN, respectively. Front Office Sports’ Ryan Glasspiegel now has details on the viewership numbers for the first hours of both nights.

Per the report, WrestleMania 42: Saturday averaged 1.62 million viewers on ESPN2. Meanwhile, the first hour of Night 2 on Sunday on ESPN averaged 1.82 million viewers.

Additionally, the one-hour countdown show that aired on ESPN2 on Saturday averaged 676,000 viewers, and 750,000 viewers on Sunday on ESPN.
The one-hour countdown did 676k Saturday on ESPN2 and 750K Sunday on ESPN. Besides the first hour simulcasts, WrestleMania 42 aired on the ESPN App on the Unlimited tier in the U.S. It streamed on Netflix internationally.

As noted, WWE declared the event one of the highest-grossing shows in company history, with a combined 106,072 fans in attendance for both nights.
