WWE Reportedly Advertising Several NXT Superstars For Royal Rumble 2026

WWE will present the 39th annual Royal Rumble Premium Live Event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this month. The show will emanate from a newly constructed stadium at the King Abdullah Financial District on Saturday, January 31.

As always, the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches will be the major attractions, with 30 men and 30 women vying for a World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania. Apart from the top main roster stars, WWE has, in recent years, booked several NXT talents to participate in the two gimmick matches, and it seems that the promotion is pushing the envelope further this year.

Speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that a billboard outside the venue in Riyadh is advertising NXT talents such as Thea Hail, Tatum Paxley, Ethan Page, and Lola Vice for the upcoming PLE.

“NXT wrestlers Thea Hail, Tatum Paxley, Ethan Page, and Lola Vice are all featured on the billboard outside the venue promoting the Royal Rumble,” Meltzer noted.

Additionally, WWE is also advertising two-time NXT Champion Oba Femi for the 2026 Royal Rumble. The Ruler recently vacated the NXT Title and is said to be main roster-bound.

“Oba Femi is also featured on the Royal Rumble billboard amid plans for the former NXT Champion to move to the main roster,” he added.

As far as top main roster stars are concerned, multi-time World Champions Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are also being advertised for the event. Both Roman and Brock are currently absent from WWE TV but are expected to return for the Royal Rumble.

“The likes of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are on the billboard, too!” Meltzer noted.
