WWE NXT Great American Bash To Air on The CW on June 28

WWE Hall of Famer and NXT Executive Producer Shawn Michaels announced today the first NXT premium live event special that will be broadcast on The CW. NXT Great American Bash will be held on Sunday, June 28, and it will be presented live on The CW Network.

Michaels wrote in the caption of his video, “Excited to finally share this one. @WWENXT and @TheCW present The Great American Bash Sunday, June 28 at 7e/4p. See you tonight for #WWENXT at 8/7c”

As previously reported, WWE and The CW announced in late April that NXT premium live events would be moving to The CW later this year, starting with Great American Bash. Under the agreement, The CW will air 20 NXT PLEs in their entirety and live on both coasts over “the next several years.”

The event is notably happening on the same date as AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, which is scheduled for the same date and time. TNA Slammiversary 2026 is also being held on that date, but it will start earlier in the day.
