WWE Raw Rating, Audience Drops Following Last Week’s Spike
This week’s episode of WWE Raw fell back to normal after last week’s post-WrestleMania spike. Monday’s show brought in a 0.59 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.818 million viewers, down 22.4% and 19.6% from last week’s 0.76 demo rating and audience of 2.260 million.
While it was down from last week, the demo rating was still an improvement on recent weeks and in fact repped the best number (outside of last week) since the January 30th post-Royal Rumble episode had a 0.64 demo rating. The overall viewership was the lowest since the March 20th episode had 1.773 million viewers.
Raw ranked #1 among all shows on TV for the night, beating American Idol on ABC (0.56 demo rating/4.459 million viewers) for the top spot. Impressively, the third hour beat the first hour for the first time in a long time. The hourly numbers were:
8 PM: 0.56 demo rating (1.775 million viewers)
9 PM: 0.64 demo rating (1.964 million viewers)
10 PM: 0.58 demo rating (1.734 million viewers)
Raw is averaging a 0.552 demo rating and 1.861 million viewers thus far in 2023, compared to a 0.47 demo rating and 1.752 million viewers for the same time period in 2022.
