WWE Raw Rating Rises While Viewership Ticks Down

– The rating for this week’s episode of Raw was up ahead of this weekend’s Backlash PPV, with viewership dropping off. Monday’s episode brought in a 1.08 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 3.066 million viewers. Those numbers are up 3% and down 1% from last week’s 1.05 demo rating and 3.104 million. The demo rating was still below all of the episodes since March, while viewership hit the lowest point since the February 5th episode had an audience of 3.055 million.

Raw ranked #2 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, behind only the NBA Playoff game on TNT (1.83 demo rating, 4.689 million viewers). The hourly numbers were:

8 PM: 1.08 demo rating (3.136 million viewers)
9 PM: 1.13 demo rating (3.184 million viewers)
10 PM: 1.03 demo rating (2.878 million viewers)
