WWE Raw Rating Down Slightly Against NCAA Championship

– The rating for this week’s episode of Raw was down slightly against the NCAA championship game. Last night’s episode brought in a 0.9 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.760 million viewers, down 7% and 4% against last week’s 0.97 and 2.865 million viewers. The numbers were up from the Christmas day episode from two weeks ago (0.84 and 2.704 million) and more or less even with the December 18th episode (0.84/2.786 million).

The show ranked #8 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, being steamrolled by the NCAA game (8.68 demo rating/27.383 million viewers), the post-game show (4.92 demo rating/13.457 million), the pre-game shows (4.56/15.541 million and 2.05/5.865 million), the post-game SportsCenter (1.35/3.417 million) and two episodes of Love & Hip-Hop on VH-1 (0.96/1.864 million and 0.93/1.670 million). The hourly numbers were:

8 PM: 0.97 demo rating (2.993 million viewers)
9 PM: 0.91 demo rating (2.784 million viewers)
10 PM: 0.82 demo rating (2.502 million viewers)
