WWE Reportedly Revamping TV Production Trucks

WWE is in the process of updating their fleet of production trucks for TV, according to a new report. The report comes from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, who note that according to sources on the production team, the company is currently replacing the TV production trucks that they’ve been using for a number of years.

According to the report, the company is set to begin using three new mobile unites that will serve as the “nerve center” for TV broadcasts. The trucks will (obviously) head from city to city and handle everything involving production from the camera shots and replays to graphics, entrance videos and the rest.

The report noted that the current set of trucks has been in use for more than a decade. The new units are being made by N.E.P. Integration in Pennsylvania, and reportedly could cost upward of $12 million to $15 million per truck.

There’s no word on how far along the replacement process is or when it could be done.
