UPDATED: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Rumored to Return on Fox

UPDATE: On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, (via wrestlinginc.com), Dave Meltzer said that while it’s possible, he was told by people in WWE and FOX that the story of adding Saturday Night’s Main Event is not true. He said that sources on both sides were told that there would not be any “added wrestling programming.” He did say that NXT to FS1 down the line is a possibility.

ORIGINAL: According to Brad Shepard (via ringsidenews.com), it appears that Saturday Night’s Main Event may make a return as part of WWE’s deal with Fox. WWE’s deal with Fox was recently made official and will see the company make over $1 billion over 5 years for WWE Smackdown moving to the network. Since news of the deal first broke, there have been rumors of a studio show on FS1, NXT moving to FS1 or 2, and now Saturday Night’s Main Event returning. These are all rumors for now.
