Wrestlenomics has the ratings and viewership data for the October 24 edition of WWE SmackDown. Last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown went against the MLB World Series and the pre-game coverage on FOX.

Last week’s SmackDown drew an average audience of 1.147 million viewers. Viewership dipped by 3% from the previous week’s episode, which averaged 1.180 million viewers.

In the P18-49 key ratings demo, Friday night SmackDown drew an average 0.29 rating. The rating was up by 4% from the October 17 episode, which drew an average 0.29 rating.

Wrestlenomics notes that WWE SmackDown finished first in the ratings for the night in the key demo, and No. 3 overall, including broadcast networks. Also, SmackDown ratings now fall under Big Data + Panel methodology, which started on September 26. Before that time, SmackDown ratings data were only measured with “panel-only” methodology.

The main event of last week’s show featured Drew McIntyre facing Jimmy Uso in a No DQ Match. McIntyre scored the victory after hitting Jimmy Uso with the Claymore Kick. When Cody Rhodes came out to make the save for Uso, who McIntyre continually attacked, Cody also received a Claymore for his troubles, and the show ended with McIntyre standing tall over his enemies.

The ending continues the build for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for November 1, which will see Drew McIntyre once again challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship.

The upcoming event will be held at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it will air live on Peacock in the U.S. It will stream on Netflix internationally.
