The Rock To Host Preview Of His New TV Series
Fuse has sent out a press release announcing that executive producer Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson will host the first episode of the series Clash of the Corps on his Facebook page as part of a Facebook Live event on October 4 at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT. Johnson has 56 million fans on the site.
The two-episode premiere debuts on Fuse on October 5 at 11 PM ET. It’s an 8-part half-hour documentary series.
Here’s a synopsis: Clash of the Corps captures the blood, sweat and tears behind the scenes and on the road in the fast, ultra-competitive, high-energy world of Drum Corps International – “Marching Music’s Major League.” Clash of the Corps follows DCI’s two most historically successful corps, the Cadets from Pennsylvania and the Blue Devils from Northern California, who for the last 20 years, have been battling it out for the World Championship title.
The Facebook Live event will include an introduction from Johnson. Both the event and the Fuse premiere will be promoted by @Fusetv on all social channels as well as Johnson’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. The show itself is executive produced by Seven Bucks Productions’ Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia and Brian Gewirtz with 44 Blue Productions’ Rasha Drachkovitch.
