Various News: New JAPW Champion Crowned, Updated Cage of Death Card, More

– Due to Teddy Hart not being able to leave Canada because of a legal situation, he could not challenge Dan Maff for the title at JAPW’s “November to Remember” in Rahway, NJ. That resulted in Brodie Lee capturing the Jersey All Pro Wrestling Heavyweight championship. Maff had defended the belt in a Four Way against Nick Gage, JAPW Light Heavyweight champion Azrieal and JAPW New Jersey State champion Lee. Lee pinned Maff.

Lee will now defend the belt against TNA star Rhino on Saturday 12/11 in Philadelphia, PA at the ECW Arena as part of a double header with CZW’s Cage of Death 2011.

Combat Zone Wrestling updated the card for their 12/11 Cage of Death 2011 event in Philadelphia, PA at the ECW Arena:

– In the Cage of Death, Danny Havoc & Devon Moore & Scotty Vortekz & Dysfunction v. tHURTeen & Brain Damage & Masada & Drake Younger. I am told there will be elements from the COD – Suspended used for this year’s COD.

– CZW champion Jon Moxley vs. Homicide in the latest chapter of their tremendously stiff and brutal feud.

– CZW Ultraviolent Underground champion Nick Gage vs. Big Japan’s Yuko Miyamoto with the United States debut of the Death Match specialist!

– Philly’s Most Wanted, Joker & “Black Jeez” Sabian vs. The Osyrian Portal to crown new CZW Tag Team champions.

– Sami Callihan vs. Robert Anthony.

– CZW Junior Heavyweight champion Adam Cole vs. A.R. Fox.

The COD event will be preceded by Jersey All Pro Wrestling’s Anniversary show, which will feature:

– The ECW Arena debut of Japanese legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Mike Quackenbush!

– Brodie Lee, one of the best big name brawlers to hit the scene in some time, vs. Rhino.

– Nick Gage & Necro Butcher challenge the JAPW Tag Team champions!

– Teddy Hart, Kenny Omega, Jay Lethal, The Briscoe Brothers and more are also scheduled!
