The Hardys vs. Young Bucks Was To Be a Major Joint Impact & ROH Program
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Young Bucks and Hardys program had been agreed upon to be a major deal on Impact television until the Hardys situation changed. Impact and ROH had signed off on a working agreement, that would have seen them working together; there would be multiple dates for months in both companies, going back and forth, where the Young Bucks would have debuted on the April Impact tapings.
The plan was to have matches on each other’s PPV shows as well as a match at the Hardy compound, and likely culminating in a ladder match. Impact was still interested in using the Young Bucks even after the Hardys departure. Even if that wasn’t the final nail in the coffin for the deal, the legal threat from Impact Wrestling prior to the ROH 15th anniversary PPV, that cost ROH the Dish Network PPV buys, would have been.
