411’s WWE Table for 3: Awesome Ensemble Report

-Original air date: Oct 21, 2015

-This time we get a rather uniquely matched trio of R-Truth, The Miz, and Curtis Axel. The teaser information just says they are going to talk about life in the WWE and what it takes to make it as a WWE Superstar.

-Normal small talk as Miz talks about downloading Truth’s newest song and takes credit for his career thanks to Awesome Truth. He quickly brings up how they were Main Event of Survivor Series and sold out MSG with Rock and Cena.

-They continue to discuss Truth’s music career as we are told that he has a recording studio in his life. His music is up-tempo as it is based on real life since there are too many drug dealing rappers out there.

-Truth brings up women using bird crap on their face to help with wrinkles. Miz and Axel are just dumbfounded, but Truth is sticking by his story. He keeps telling them to look it up as Miz is a non believer. Truth goes deep as he takes a scientific approach and says it isn’t jut plain bird poop and they put stuff in it. Axel checks it out on his phone and finds that Tom Cruise does use bird droppings and now Miz seems intrigued.

-On to Axel as they talk about his children. He has all boys and he thinks a 4th generation wrestling is more than likely to happen in his family. Miz turns that talk into a story about his fantasy football league that Axel is involved. They were talking on the phone about the league and Axel was dropping F bombs everywhere while his kids were in the car. He told Miz they hear it all the time, and Truth says he does the same at times with his kids. Axel’s youngest son is name Hoss and Truth and Miz love it as the kid is already made to be in the WWE with that name: Hoss Hennig.

-Truth has 5 kids (3 girls and 2 boys) ranging from 24 years old to 9 months. Miz is shocked and asks Truth how old is he and they all laugh. Axel breaks out a picture that Miz has seen, but not Truth and it is a photo of Truth wrestling Mr. Perfect in TNA. So there you go….actual TNA “footage” on WWE Television. The ref in the match, Scott Armstrong, gave Axel the picture. Truth talks about how much Perfect helped him and how he saw so much in him. That is actually a pretty touching moment.

-Truth has been around for 17-18 years and they talk about his first run in the WWE. “Get Rowdy” as he was paired with Road Dogg. It seems Dogg saw him wrestling and rapping in Memphis and wanted to bring him to WWE. From then on Truth was Dogg’s boy and everyone accepted him.

-Talk shifts back to Awesome Truth as Miz brings up when they first told they would be tagging. The Miz came up with a rap to be prepared since they were tagging and he was excited to tell Truth. Cena was watching in the background and told Truth to tell Miz the truth. Cena told Miz that Truth was too nice to tell Miz how horrible it was. So they decided to let Truth do all the rapping while Miz just was the hype man. Truth and Miz joke that Rock and Cena needed them to sell out MSG for their match.

-Miz puts over how amazing Truth is as it hard to rap to music in front of a live crowd. Truth let Miz go out once and he just died trying to rap to the theme song as he forgot nearly every line. Now we talk about dancing as Miz always gets stuck in dance offs during live shows and he blames Santino for always booking them.

-Miz wants to know how Truth got Little Jimmy over with the WWE audience. Even more how he got the boys to run with it as well as they relate the story of heels beating up Little Jimmy at live shows and the fans being outraged. Truth says that fans want to take pictures with Little Jimmy and he just stood back and was amazed people were taking pictures with thin air.

-Miz relates things like that to Mizdow and how that got massively over with the WWE crowd. Miz says it was his idea as he came back from a movie. It was just to be a one off and it got so over that it went completely away from the original purpose. Miz loses it as he talks about how it was supposed to be a stunt double so he didn’t have to wrestle, but turned into him doing the entire match while Mizdow got over with the fans by not wrestling and imitating him. Truth is nearly in tears as he laughs at Miz. He does give credit to Mizdow with how committed he was to the gimmick and calls him a genius.

-Axel-mania now and how it started from Axel not being eliminated from the 2015 Rumble. The fans on twitter kept telling him that he didn’t lose and next thing Axel-mania was born. That then turned into Axel-mani and Macho Mandow which was cut short when Hogan had his issues.

-They ask Axel what it was like being the son of a legend. He never told anyone who his dad was as a kid and they would figure it out when he showed up to his basketball games. To him it wasn’t a big deal and Truth says his kids are the same way.

-Miz tells a great story of when he was a kid his dad going to Mania and getting autographs from everyone. Years later he saw the program again and realized all the signatures looked the same. He rushed down to yell at his dad and his dad laughed at him as he was amazed it took him that long to figure out. Axel and Truth are losing it as they laugh, but they also think it is cool that he would do that. Miz says that even now his dad with forge his signature on trading cards and Miz keeps telling him to stop as he will sign everything himself. His dad would take Miz to dinners so he can get free stuff in exchange for Miz signing for people. In a way Truth says that it is a way for him to show his son off. Miz says that Kofi, “Keith” Slater, and Evan Bourne are as his dad’s favorites. His dad always asked Miz why he doesn’t do the cool moves that Evan does and Miz shoots back because he has his genetics. Just tremendously fun stories here.

-Truth wants to perform at Mania as a rapper like Flo Rida, Puff Daddy, and MGK have done in the past. He is okay if they even just wanted him to rap for someone else to make their entrance. They talk more about Truth’s singles on iTunes. Axel wants to headline Mania and mentions that Miz was able to do it.

-Miz jumps on that and says that his bad ass vignette before the match (set to “Hate Me Now”) was a shock to him and he was so lost looking at it that he nearly forgot he had to go to the ring. When he got in the ring he had 10 friends sitting at ringside and all he could think is that he would sit with them during the Attitude Era and watch all the WWE, WCW, and ECW PPVs and now he was here. He doesn’t remember much after that since he got knocked out cold. His goals are to be the greatest superstar ever (which they all agree should be everyone’s goal).

-Axel wants to move down to Florida and work as a trainer with the kids in the Performance Center. He feels that would be amazing and that wraps up this one as they all agree that dinner is on Truth since they downloaded his songs.

-Weird grouping aside this was tremendously fun to watch. These guys had a blast telling stories and seemed to have even more fun hearing the stories. There’s a lot of great stories here, and it does let you see another side of guys like Miz and Axel. Everyone knows Truth is like that crazy uncle talking about bird shit off in the corner of the house.

-Next time: NXT!
