GFW News: Lockdown Possibly Returning to PPV, Note on Eli Drake Promo on El Patron

– There has been talk internally about the Lockdown concept returning as a full PPV. When TNA downgraded the number of live PPVs they did in a year, Lockdown was downgraded to a TV special.

– Eli Drake cut a promo at the August 5th GFW live event, where he questioned why anyone would want Alberto el Patron as champion representing the company. PWinsider.com has the following to say about the promo, “ One would think Drake said the line on his own, because I can’t see any valid reason that the company would actually want to remind fans who attended the show that the company’s champion isn’t even there, but you never know. Patron remains suspended as part of the fallout of the 7/9 Orlando Airport incident.”
