Smackdown Rating Surges to Four-Month High

– The rating for this week’s episode of Smackdown jumped following SummerSlam to its highest mark since the second week of April. Tuesday’s episode brought in a 0.87 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 13% from last week’s 0.77 demo rating. The viewership hit 2.685 million, 6% above the audience of 2.53 million last week. Both numbers were the best for the show since the April 17th episode had a 1.05 demo rating and 3.105 million viewers.

Smackdown easily topped the ratings for the night’s cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. The #2 spot went to OWN’s The Haves and Have Nots with a 0.65 demo rating and 2.516 million viewers.
