Trent & Chucky T vs. Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa: Tonga and Chucky T to begin. Tonga attacks, taking Chucky T to the corner. Chucky T quickly fights back, hitting a dropkick and tagging in Trent. Trent hits back elbows, chops and a knee drop, covering for 2. Chucky T tags back in, as the Best Friends work quick tags and isolate Tonga. The double teams, and a hug, follow as they keep control until Loa rushes in to cut them off. This leads to floor brawling and Chucky T being sent to the barricade as they battle into the crowd. Trent and Tonga battle on the boards and that leads to Trent hitting a high cross onto the Guerrillas. Loa posts Chucky T as the brawl continues. Loa then suplexes Chucky T onto the apron, and the Guerillas take the heat on Trent back in the ring. Trent tries to fire back, but is quickly cut off. The Guerrillas send Chucky T to the floor, as the double teams continue on Trent. The ass beating of Trent continues at a lethargic pace, until he finally hits a desperation tornado DDT. Chucky T gets the hot tag, hits a missile dropkick and then a tope to wipe out the Guerrillas. Back in and Chucky T does the deal on Tonga with a falcon arrow for 2. Loa in, Chucky T fights them off as Trent returns. They toss Loa, and hit a double team suplex/double stomp combo for 2. The double chokeslam on Tonga is cut of by Loa, Tonga hits a rolling DVD on Trent, covering for 2. Loa back in and the powerbomb/neck breaker combo gets 2. Chucky T gets dumped to the floor, and The Guerrillas look for Guerrilla warfare, but Trent fights it off and hits the dudebuster on Loa for the win. Trent & Chucky T defeated Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa @ 11:07 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly average match, with little heat and a severe lack of urgency. It existed.

Jeff Cobb & Michael Elgin vs. Toru Yano and Tomohiro Ishii: Cobb and Ishii to start. They lock up and work to the ropes, and Ishii lays in chops. Thy trade strikes now, as big lads do big lad things. Ishii now tries shoulder blocks, but Cobb just absorbs them. He then hits a flying shoulder block, forearms follow and large Michael tags in. Yano in as well and he plays around and slaps Elgin in the back of the head. He tries to run, fails and Elgin slams him down and hits the slingshot splash for 2. Elgin follows with strikes, and Yano calls for the break in the ropes. Elgin continue to lay in strikes, Yano rushes to the buckles and removes the pad. The ref takes it and Yano slams Elgin into the exposed buckles ad Ishii and Cobb brawl to the floor. Back in and Ishii works over Elgin with chops, Elgin fires back but Ishii cuts him off with a head butt. Ishii tags in Yano, who lays the boots to Elgin. Elgin fires back with forearms, gets sent to the exposed buckles but fights back, hitting a RANA on Yano. Tag to Cobb, who runs wild on Yano and then starts tossing Ishii around. Cobb counters the Yano low blow, hits a suplex and covers for 2. Yano rakes the eyes, but runs into a powerslam, and Cobb covers for 2. Cobb misses a splash, hitting the exposed buckle, but manages clotheslines to Ishii and Yano. Elgin tags back in, he picks up Yano and Ishii and hits the double sack of shit slam. Corner forearms follow, and then a missile dropkick. Elgin does the deal on Ishii, hitting the falcon arrow for 2. Ishii battles back with strikes, they trade and both just keep asking for more. Ishii hits the clothesline and stalling suplex, covering for 2. Elgin cuts of the lariat, they collide center ring, Yano then trips up Elgin. Cobb and Yano in, it breaks down and Ishii hits Elgin with a release German for 2. Cobb in and makes the save, tossing Ishii around with Germans, tosses him to Elgin who hits a German and that get 2. Cobb and Yano spill to the floor, Ishii and Elgin beat the shit out of each other; Cobb joins in and they double team Ishii, picking up a good near fall. The buckle bomb/Elgin bomb combo finishes Ishii. Jeff Cobb & Michael Elgin defeated Toru Yano and Tomohiro Ishii @ 13:28 via pin [***¼] This was a good and fun match, with Ishii, Elgin and Cobb bringing the hossy goodness. Just two matches today, but it was an overall really solid, but unspectacular 25-minutes of action. The newer teams have been picking up wins to make them look like threats and Cobb has seamlessly transitioned into NJPW. He’s going to be so much fun to watch here.
