Mackenzie Davis Set to Star in Terminator Reboot

Mackenzie Davis has signed on to star in Skydance’s new Terminator reboot, according to Variety. Tim Miller will direct the film, which will also star Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is set to begin production this summer.

Davis has been a rising star in Hollywood, playing roles in Halt and Catch Fire and Blade Runner 2049. She has been sought by Miller to play Domino in Deadpool 2 before he left the project.

The new film will start a new trilogy and act as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, ignoring the events of the later films. Linda Hamilton will reprise her role of Sarah Connor in the new film, which will be produced by James Cameron and release on July 26th, 2019.
