Simon Gotch Remembers Finn Balor Losing Patience With Enzo Amore

In an interview with Why It Ended with Robbie E (via Wrestling Inc, Simon Grimm (fka Simon Gotch) spoke about an incident in which Finn Balor lost his patience with Enzo Amore while the two were in NXT.

Grimm said that WWE as fine with Enzo’s promos and he never had heat over them, but he had a lot of heat with the wrestlers.

He said: “I noticed he would try to buddy up with people when he thought he could get something from them, and that didn’t sit well with people. When Fergal, Finn Balor, got there, [Enzo] immediately was just d–k riding him to high heaven. Right away. ‘Oh, bro. you wanna get chicks, you know what you gotta do? You gotta get an apartment downtown, bro. Cuz then you can walk to all the bars and walk right home.’”

He said that Balor laughed at Enzo at first, but “lost his patience with him eventually.” Enzo trying to attach himself to Balor because he knew he would be a star was also looked down upon. Grimm said Balor didn’t need Enzo’s help because he has “nine million abs,” was an Armani model in Japan, and could get any girl he wanted.
