As we previously reported, the plan for Wrestlemania 35 was originally set to be Triple H vs. Batista, playing on a segment the two had at Smackdown 1000 in which the Animal said that the Game never beat him. Triple H suffered a torn pectoral muscle at WWE Crown Jewel, which has put a halt to those plans. Now Slice Wrestling (via Cageside Seats) reports that there are still plans to give Batista a ‘major match’ at the event.
It remains to be seen if Batista will actually appear at the show given his film commitments. He recently joined the cast of the Dune reboot, which begins production this spring in Budapest and Jordan.
