Welcome to 411’s WWE World Collide 2020 Report. We are LIVE in beautiful Houston, Texas. Tonight’s Pre-Show panelists are Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts, and Andy Shepherd. We start off with a video package for Undisputed Era vs. Imperium.

Pre-Show Match
Mia Yim vs. Kay Lee Ray

Yim starts hot with a drop kick to the corner followed by a cannonball in the corner. Ray rights back to her feet and slugs it out with Yim in the middle of the ring. Yim lands an ax kick to the back of the neck and follows up with a hurricanrana. Ray fights back with a forearm shot to the jaw, but Yim regains control with a chop block and a basement drop kick for a two count. Ray catches Yim with a tornado DDT out of the corner for a two count of her own. Ray follows up with a front suplex and gets another two count. Ray locks in a seated abdominal stretch, but Yim fights back to her feet. Ray whips Yim to the corner and delivers a stiff chop to the chest, but Yim fights out of the corner with chops of her own. Ray responds with a super kick and gets yet another two count. Ray heads up top and goes for a senton, but Yim rolls out of the way. Yim hits a neck breaker and follows up with an enzuigiri and a tornado DDT for a two count. Yim dumps Ray to the outside and connects with a suicide dive between the ropes. Ray super kicks Yim off the apron, heads up top, and hits somersault senton from the top to the outside. Ray rolls Yim back into the ring, and they slug it out in the middle of the ring. Ray sets up for the Gory Bomb, but Yim counters into the Code Blue for another two count. Ray catches Yim with Eat Defeat for her own two count. Ray goes for a hurricanrana, but Yim counters into a powerbomb. Yim hits a Destroyer for a loooooong two count. Yim rolls up Ray, but Ray uses her momentum to keep rolling and cover Yim while leaning on the ropes for a controversial three count.

Match Result: Kay Lee Ray defeats Mia Yim with a rollup.

Finn Balor vs. Ilja Dragunov

Balor and Dragunov circle each other to start, and Balor quickly takes down Dragunov with an arm bar. Dragunov gets back to his feet, but Balor again takes him down with a side head lock. Dragunov breaks the hold with a head scissors and then locks in a side head lock of his own. Dragunov hits the ropes and levels Balor with a crossbody. Dragunov goes for a sunset flip that ends up looking more like sloppy Destroyer. Balor dumps Dragunov to the outside and connects with a basement drop kick between the ropes. Balor rolls Dragunov back into the ring, but Dragunov catches him with an arm bar. Dragunov works over Balor in the corner and then clotheslines him off the apron. Dragunov springboards off the bottom rope and connects with Balor on the outside. Dragunov heads all the way up top and goes for a diving ax handle, but Balor move out of the way, and Dragunov crashes to the floor. Balor bounces Dragunov’s head off the barricade, rolls him back into the ring, and hits a drop kick to the back of the neck. Balor goes back to the side head lock and follows up with a scoop slam and a standing elbow drop for a two count. Balor repeatedly stomps on Dragunov, traps him in the corner, and connects with a stiff chop to the chest. Balor whips Dragunov to the opposite corner, hits another chop to the chest, and covers Dragunov for a two count. Balor goes for 1916, but Dragunov counters into a suplex. Dragunov heads up top and connects with a diving knee drop to the throat for a two count of his own. Dragunov hits several knee strikes to the jaw followed by a rising knee strike for another two count. Dragunov goes for a Death Valley Driver into the corner, but Balor counters into a double stomp to the chest. Balor and Dragunov slug it out in the middle of the ring. Dragunov blocks an attempted 1916, but Balor drops an elbow to the throat. Balor hits Sling Blade, but Dragunov fights back with a high angle German suplex for another two count. Balor rolls to the outside, but Dragunov heads up top and dives onto Balor on the outside. Dragunov drapes Balor across the bottom rope near one corner and then heads up top in the adjacent corner for coast-to-coast drop kick. Balor looks to have possibly broken his nose at some point. Dragunov heads up top and goes for a diving senton, but Balor gets his knees up. Balor hits the John Woo drop kick followed by the Coup de Grâce from the top and 1916 for the three count.

The BroserWeights and the Grizzled Young Veterans are both sitting at ringside, and we learn that the winner of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will earn an NXT Tag Team Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Portland.

Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Angel Garza (Champion) vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Travis Banks vs. Jordan Devlin

Scott, Banks, and Devlin corner Garza and thankfully prevent him from suffering a wardrobe malfunction. Scott lands a forearm shot to Banks and a back elbow shot to Devlin. Scott catches Devlin with a flatliner and then hits Banks with a hurricanrana. Devlin dumps Scott to the outside and goes for a moonsault off the apron, but Scott catches him and slams him to the mat. Garza connects with a suicide dive to Scott, and Banks follows up with a double stomp off the apron. Scott and Banks trade chops on the outside before Banks rolls Scott back into the mat. Garza charges back into the ring but eats a stiff kick from Banks. Banks hits Scott with a snap German suplex and then levels Devlin with a suicide dive to the outside. Banks charges back into the ring and hits both Garza and Scott with a cannonball in the corner. Banks dumps Devlin into the corner as well, and it looks like Devlin’s head caught Scott a little low. Devlin rights back with an inverted slingshot tornado DDT to Banks and a standing Spanish Fly to Garza. Garza fights back with a punt to Devlin’s ribs, but Garza’s enthusiasm leads to an unfortunate wardrove malfunction. Garza lifts both Devlin and Banks, and Scott comes off the top rope with a double stomp that results in something like a cross between a Tower of Doom and a Doomsday Device. Garza heads up top, but Scott heads up top with him. Devlin heads up top as well and hits a DOUBLE SPANISH FLY FROM THE TOP. Banks seizes the moment and hits Devlin with the Slice of Heaven and the Kiwi Crusher for a loooooong two count. Scott hits a modified powerbomb in the corner but only get a two count. Scott lifts Banks into the electric chair position, but Garza heads up top and hits a diving drop kick to Banks, but Banks uses the momentum from the drop kick to deliver a poison rana to Scott. Garza dumps Banks to the outside and hits Scott with the Wing Clipper, but Devlin breaks up the pin and levels Garza with a head butt. Devlin hits Scott with the Devlin Side and gets the three count.

Match Result: Jordan Devlin defeats Isaiah “Swerve” Scott with the Devlin Side.

DIY vs. Moustache Mountain

Gargano and Bate start the match and lock up in the middle of the ring. Gargano catches Bate with an arm wringer and muscles him down to the mat. Bate hits a monkey flip, but Gargano maintains his hold on the arm. Gargano locks in an arm bar, but Bate flips out and finally creates some distance. Gargano catches Bate in a standing side head lock and takes him down to the mat. Bate fights back to his feet and flips to his feet to counter a hurricanrana. Gargano and Bate both duck each other’s punches and then cordially agree to tag in their partners. Ciampa and Seven enter the match. Seven gets the best of a moustache twirl competition, but Ciampa decisively wins a pose-off. With the theatrics over, Ciampa and Seven lock up. Seven muscles Ciampa to the corner, and Bate makes the tag. Ciampa calls for a test of strength, but Bate initially gets the best of it. Ciampa uses his height to regain the advantage, but Bate and Ciampa then trade several flips while continuing to maintain the knuckle lock. Bate throws up Bop, but Ciampa hits him with Bang. Things finally get serious when Ciampa delivers a knee shot that sends Bate to the outside while Gargano connects with a super kick to Seven from the apron. Ciampa tosses Bate over the announce table, and then Gargano does the same to Seven. Ciampa rolls Bate back into the ring and makes the tag to Gargano. Gargano lands a kick to the back of the neck and then makes the quick tag back to Ciampa. Ciampa lands an elbow shot and works over Bate, but Bate sneaks between the legs and makes the tag to Seven. Seven takes on both Ciampa and Gargano before dumping Gargano to the outside and leveling Ciampa with a lariat for a two count. Seven goes for the Seven Star Lariat, but Ciampa counters with a knee shot. Gargano and Bate get the tags, and Gargano hits Bate with a slingshot drop kick. Gargano works over Bate in the corner and connects with his patented slingshot spear for a two count. Bate rolls to the outside, and Seven grabs Gargano’s feet to prevent a suicide dive. Ciampa comes to Gargano’s aid and holds the ropes while Gargano hits a suicide dive on Bate. Gargano brings Bate back into the ring and makes the tag to Ciampa. Ciampa and Gargano connects with stereo kicks to Gargano in the corner, and then Gargano levels Seven with a senton off the apron. Ciampa goes for Project Ciampa, but Bate counters in the Tyler Driver 97. Seven and Gargano charge into the ring, and Gargano levels Seven with a super kick. Bate gets the tag and goes for the lawn dart, but Bate rolls up Gargano for a two count. Bate follows up with an exploder suplex and goes for a standing shooting star press, but Gargano gets his knees up. Gargano goes for the Gargano Escape, but Bate counters into the airplane spin, but Gargano counters back into the Gargano Escape. Seven rushes into the ring to try to make the save, but Ciampa joins him in the ring and locks in an arm bar. Bate and Seven beg each other not to submit (i.e., the DIY / Revival spot), and then then lift Gargano and Ciampa into stereo airplane spins. Seven holds Gargano while Bate goes for a clothesline, but Gargano ducks, and Bate accidentally levels Seven. Ciampa gets the tag, and Ciampa and Gargano go for Meeting in the Middle to both Bate and Seven, but Bate and Seven counter into Bop and Bang. Seven hits a Birminghammer with a top rope knee drop assist from Bate, but Ciampa kicks out at two. Seven holds Ciampa on the mat while Bate hits a corkscrew senton from the top, but Ciampa ends up on top of Seven, and Bate has to break up the pin. All four men meet in the middle of the ring and slug it out. Bate goes for a springboard splash, but Gargano and Ciampa catch him with stereo mid-air drop kicks. Gargano and Ciampa hit Seven with Meeting in the Middle, and Ciampa covers Seven for the three count. After the match, all four me shake hands and hug. Ciampa keeps holding the back of his neck, and I really hope he’s just selling the effects of the match. I honestly couldn’t even attempt to keep up with the lightning fast technical brilliance in that match.

Mercedes Martinez and Dakota Kai are sitting at ringside, but Tegan Nox attacks Kai from out of nowhere. Nox and Kai brawl at ringside until security tears them apart.

NXT Women’s Championship Match
Rhea Ripley (Champion) vs. Toni Storm

Ripley muscles Storm to the corner to start, but Strom fights back with an arm wringer. Storm lands a volley of forearm shots and then slaps Ripley’s back. Ripley drops Storm with a short clothesline, but Storm fights back and German suplexes Ripley into the corner. Ripley rolls to the outside, but Storm quickly retrieves her. Storm locks in a figure four STF, but Ripley crawls to the ropes to break the hold. Storm hits a snap DDT and gets a two count. Storm locks in a rear chin lock and then grinds Ripley’s face into the mat. Ripley fights back with knee shots to the jaw followed by a basement drop kick. Ripley hits a pump kick and then slams Storm face-first to the mat. Ripley locks in her standing cloverleaf, but Storm breaks free. Storm goes for Storm Zero, but Ripley blocks, so Storm goes for a sunset flip, but Ripley rolls through. Storm hits Ripley with a German suplex but only gets a two count. Ripley connects with a super kick followed by a standing drop kick. Ripley hits the ropes and charges at Storm, but Storm catches her with a head butt. Storm heads up top and goes for a diving splash, but Ripley rolls out of the way. Ripley quickly follows up with Riptide and gets the three count.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match
Undisputed Era vs. Imperium

O’Reilly and Aichner start the match. O’Reilly goes for a rolling arm bar, but Aichner maintains the monkey grip to block. Aichner chops O’Reilly in the corner and follows up with a power slam. Barthel gets the tag, and Aichner pops up O’Reilly into a European uppercut from Barthel. O’Reilly manages to make the tag to Strong, but Barthel whips him to Imperium’s corner and makes the tag to Wolfe. Strong beats Wolfe back to Undisputed Era’s cover and makes the tag to Fish. Strong and Fish double team Wolfe with Strong kicking from the back and Fish kicking from the front. Wolfe looks to have been legitimately injured when Fish kicked his throat, and the referee halts the action until medical personnel can get Wolfe out of the ring. Walter becomes the legal man as the medical personnel take Wolfe to the back. Fish tags Strong, and Walter takes control before making the tag to Barthel. Cole finally enters the match as the Undisputed Era make the most of the 4-on-3 advantage. The Undisputed Era trade quick tags and continue to work over Barthel in the corner. Cole locks in a chin lock and drags Barthel down to the mat. Barthel fights back to his feet, but Cole hits a Backstabber and makes the tag to O’Reilly. O’Reilly cheap shots Walter on the apron, but that was a poor life decision. Barthel hits O’Reilly with a side Russian leg sweep and makes the tag to Walter. Walter goes for a powerbomb, but O’Reilly counters into a guillotine. Walter goes for a German suplex, but Strong rushes into the ring to make the save, so Walter hits a double German suplex on both O’Reilly and Strong. Barthel gets the tag and continues to work over O’Reilly until making the quick tag to Aichner. Aichner locks in a rear chin lock and drags O’Reilly down to the mat. O’Reilly fights back to his feet, but Aichner drops him with a knee to the gut. Walter gets the tag, scoop slams O’Reilly, and hits a seated senton. Walter traps O’Reilly in the corner and absolutely destroys O’Reilly with one of his trademark chops. Barthel gets the tag and teams up with Aichner for stereo drop kicks. Walter once again gets the tag, but O’Reilly finally manages to make the tag to Strong. Walter and Strong trade chops, and Strong appears to get the advantage, but Walter levels him with a clothesline. Aichner gets the tag, but Strong locks in the Strong Hold. Aichner breaks free and makes the tag to Barthel. Barthel hits an Air Raid Crash, but Strong tosses Aichner into Barthel to regain control. Cole gets the tag and goes for the Panama Sunrise, but Barthel blocks. Cole hits the ushigoroshi, but Walter charges into the ring to make the save. All four members of the Undisputed Era swarm Walter and toss him to the outside. The Era prep an announce table for carnage, but Walter fights back. Walter tries to powerbomb strong through the table, but O’Reilly makes the save. Walter brings O’Reilly up onto the announce table, but Strong pop up behind him and Olympic slams Walter from one announce table through the other announce table. Back in the ring, Barthel and Aichner hit O’Reilly with a brainbuster, but Cole super kicks both of them. Cole hits Barthel with another ushigoroshi, but Barthel kicks out at two. Strong gets the tag from Cole and hits a gut buster followed by a knee shot from Cole. Strong makes the cover, but Barthel again kicks out at two. Aichner charges into the ring, but O’Reilly and Strong double team him. Looks like O’Reilly got the tag, and he heads up top for a diving knee shot to Barthel’s knee. O’Reilly locks in a knee bar, but Barthel makes it to the ropes, but Aichner follows up with his double springboard moonsault to O’Reilly. It’s essentially been 4-on-2 ever since Walter went through the table, but Walter finally makes his way back up onto the ring apron. Barthel makes the hot tag to Walter, and Walter cleans house with chops to Strong, O’Reilly, and Fish. Cole hits a super kick, but Walter powerbombs Strong. Walter heads up top and hits a frog splash to Strong. Cole hits Walter with the Last Shot and makes the cover, but Aichner breaks up the pin. All seven remaining competitors square off (well, technically, trapezoid off in this case…) in the middle of the ring. A brawl erupts, and O’Reilly and Strong are left in the ring with Walter. O’Reilly and Strong level Walter with the high / low, and the Strong dives onto Barthel, O’Reilly, and Cole on the outside. Aichner pops up top and dives onto everyone on the outside. Fish is left alone in the ring and goes for a moonsault on Walter, but Walter rolls out of the way. Walter hits Fish with a powerbomb and finally gets the three count.

Match Result: Walter defeats Bobby Fish with a powerbomb.
