Mark Briscoe Injured, Pulled From ROH Death Before Dishonor

Mark Briscoe will not be battling for the ROH World Title at Death Before Dishonor, as he’s been pulled due to injury. Tony Khan announced on Thursday that Briscoe suffered an injury and his match with Claudio Castagnoli for the World Title has been postponed for now. He noted that a new opponent for Castagnoli will be announced after AEW Blood & Guts on next week’s AEW Dynamite.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that according to people close to Briscoe, it is a knee injury that will likely require surgery.
