Clark Connors Says Bullet Club Gold Is ‘Phony’ Attempt To Keep Jay White Relevant
In an interview with Fightful, Clark Connors, a recent member of the original Bullet Club, took shots the AEW offshoot, Bullet Club Gold. He called the group phony and said it was an attempt to keep Jay White relevant.
He said: “I think, that one in particular, is Jay White doing everything he can to stay relevant going over to a new company. Same with Juice. Doing whatever they can to stay in the spotlight, taking up those Gunn boys, doing whatever that is. I don’t watch a lot of it, to tell you the truth. I think it’s kind of phony bologna bullshit, to tell you the truth. The only real Bullet Club is the one that’s in New Japan and it’s helmed by David Finlay. That’s the reason for the Bullet Club, the idea of the Bullet Club is pissed off foreigners who wanted to take over and make a mark for themselves in Japan and that’s exactly what we, the War Dogs, are.”
