Peacock Releases First Trailer For Ted TV Series

Ted is headed to the small screen in his own event series, and the first trailer for the Peacock show is online. Peacock released the preview for the series on Thursday, which you can check out below.

The short trailer doesn’t tease much, as we see Ted from 1993 writing a letter to his future self. It’s self-aware enough to take a shot at itself, as well as Peacock itself.

The series is a prequel to the hit comedies and stars Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted again along with Max Burkholder , Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes and Giorgia Whigham. It is described as follows:

It’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Grimes and Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
