Logan Paul Says It Took ‘A Little Finessing’ To Have IShowSpeed At Wrestlemania
IShowSpeed, a popular Youtuber, made his WWE debut at Wrestlemania during Logan Paul’s match with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. In the latest episode of Impaulsive (via Fightful), Paul spoke about how it took some effort to convince WWE to do the spot.
He said: “When I was pitching him to the WWE. It took a little massaging. It took a little finessing for us to convince them that we had this young creator, who is still a teenager, he’s 19, who is just an internet phenom. Everything he touches goes crazy viral because he has that charismatic, contagious energy. He barked in Randy Orton’s face,” he said. “I tried to explain to Nina [Nina Agdal], my beautiful fiance, ‘we signed this new guy IShowSpeed, he’s a phenom.’ She’s like, ‘How much are you paying him?’ I told her. She goes, ‘You’re paying that guy that much, I’ve never even heard of him.’ ‘You’re out of touch, you don’t understand.’ This guy is a sensation. A YouTube internet sensation.“
