Tony Schiavone Doesn’t Think Samantha Irvin Is Coming to AEW
– During a recent edition of What Happened When, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone discussed Samantha Irvin leaving WWE and why he doesn’t see her joining AEW ahead of last night’s Dynamite in Salt Lake City, Utah. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
On why Samantha Irvin isn’t coming to AEW: “We already got the best ring announcer in the world with Justin Roberts, and Arkady Aura is a great ring announcer, who’s a great person and is doing a great job. [Samantha Irvin] ain’t coming here. I wouldn’t think. And of course I’ve been wrong so many times but why would we?”
On how he could be wrong and she could show up at Dynamite: “I could show up tonight in Salt Lake City and there she could be.”
As previously reported, Samantha Irvin left WWE to focus on projects and her music career outside of wrestling, and she did not leave with the intention of going to AEW.
