More Details On TNA Wrestling Allegedly Offering Lower Deals To Wrestlers on Roster

As previously reported, following PCO appearing the The People vs. GCW and smashing TNA’s digital media belt, PCO claimed that TNA management low-balled him when it came to a new deal last year. He also intimated that he was not the only one.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the company offered several talents either less pay or planned to switch them to per-event deals from guaranteed deals. The talent were those considered “overpaid” in deals that Scott D’Amore had signed during his tenure. They included PCO, Rhino, Trent Seven, KUSHIDA and Jade Chung. All of those people left the promotion at the end of last year when their contracts expired. It was noted that a similar situation happened with the Motor City Machine Guns, who were also close to D’Amore.
D’Amore had allegedly promised things to talent and once he was terminated from the company, the new management decided not to adhere to those promises. PCO was promised the World title at one point, although it’s unknown if that was from D’Amore or after. He was said to be expecting it as a reward for selling out a show in Montreal.
However, TNA has ended up signing new deals with Nic Nemeth, AJ Francis, Frankie Kazarian, Mustafa Ali, Masha Slamovich, John Skyler and Ash by Elegance.
