STARDOM Goddesses of Stardom Tag League Night 3
November 9th, 2025 | Kissei Bunka Hall in Matsumoto, Nagano | Attendance: 363
Okay, so reviews will likely start coming in slowly. I’ve got a wrist injury that makes it difficult to type at times.
Red Goddesses Block: Akira Kurogane and Bozilla [0] vs. Mei Seira and Yuna Mizumori [2]
Bozilla is still not too happy to have Akira as her partner, shoving her during their entrance. Watching Mei and Yuna try to use their wits and speed to overcome Bozilla, only for it to fail and for Bozilla to no sell a double dropkick, was fun. Bozilla didn’t want to tag out but she got knocked into Akira to do so. With Akira in there, the playing field was more leveled for the high speed duo. This back and forth was solid and when Bozilla got tagged back in, she was her dominant self again. Mei and Yuna had to work together to cut her down to size and find success. They came close a few times but Bozilla beat Mei with a big powerbomb in 10:32. That was a very good way to start the action tonight. [***¼]
Red Goddesses Block: Dos Locas de México [2] vs. Reckless Fantasy [0]
There’s not much to say about this one. Reckless Fantasy feel like they’re going to have about the same quality of match each time out there as Waka peaks at pretty good most of the time and Rian is still very much learning. Meanwhile, DLM are still getting used to his new gimmick so a fair bit of this was a bit clunky. I do like seeing DLM bust out new offensive moves as they try to hone in on this new style and work heel. There was decent enough action here but nothing to write home about. DLM got the win when Teotleco hit Waka with a superkick in 7:19. Fine enough. [**¼]
Red Goddesses Block: Hina and Ranna Yagami [0] vs. Miku Kanae and Sareee [2]
I’ve been wanting more of Ranna against Sareee since they had a sneaky good match in the 5STAR Grand Prix. Their styles are similar, while Miku and Hina fit right in, making for a good matchup on paper. Miku and Sareee continue to work well as a team, tagging in and out smoothly and showcasing some quality tandem offense. Once we got the Sareee/Ranna pairing I wanted, it delivered. Ranna was lighting her up with kicks but Sareee laid into her with forearms, making for some hard hitting exchanges. Sareee was as arrogant as ever. That gives her matches an edge that’s missing from a lot of others. In the end, Sareee got pulled outside, leaving Miku alone to fall to Hina’s Jackhammer finisher in 8:53. I was down for all these strikes. Good stuff. [***¼]
Blue Goddesses Block: 02line [2] vs. Anecon [2]
I continue to love the Syuri/Saki character bits. Saki didn’t want to start but Syuri hyped her up and got the crowd behind her. She still tried her sneaky handshake gimmick though AZM was ready for it. The entire match was some quality action where they blended all their best aspects. Quick offense from 02line, hard hitting strikes from Syuri, and comedic elements by Saki Kashima. It made for a varied and highly entertaining bout. The teams went back and forth, with neither gaining a clear upper hand. AZM going toe to toe with Syuri ruled and reminded me of their excellent Grand Prix match from 2022. Miyu nearly beat Syuri with a tight pinning combination but then tapped out when Syuri locked her in a modified Stretch Muffler at the 10:19 mark. That was really good and in the conversation for the best match of the tournament so far. [***½]
Blue Goddesses Block: HANAKO and Megan Bayne [2] vs. Reiwa Tokyo Towers [0]
Reading about Megan Bayne’s travel schedule is wild. Working a tour in Japan and one in the United States at the same time is nuts. This is the one match where Reiwa Tokyo Towers (Lady C and Ami Sohrei) are outmatched in size. Megan started against Lady C in a battle of the bigs. It was clear that while their height was similar, Megan had the strength advantage and used it shove Lady C down a few times. Tags were made and Ami was more evenly matched with HANAKO, who is tall but not quite as powerful as Megan. I think was made this match work for me was that nobody really dominated overall. They all had moments where they held serve and showcased their skills but at no point did it feel one-sided or anything like that. Just four strong women kicking each other’s asses. Everyone started throwing big moves down the stretch until all four women were down. When they got up, it was time for another slugfest before HANAKO finished off Lady C with her signature move in 13:28. A clash of powerhouses that was highly enjoyable. [***¼]
