Orange Cassidy Provides Health Update Following Blood & Guts, Explains What It’s Like To Face Jon Moxley

Orange Cassidy is pretty banged up after participating in the hellacious Men’s Blood & Guts Match last Wednesday on Dynamite.

Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, and Roderick Strong defeated The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli) in the double steel cage match on last week’s Dynamite.

However, it came at a cost, as the babyfaces had to withstand unbearable punishment from Moxley and Co. In one of the spots, Orange Cassidy had his hands stapled into his pockets by The Death Riders.

In a recent conversation with Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, Cassidy admitted that he is “beat up and busted.” He also expressed his astonishment at Mark Briscoe competing on Collision just days after Blood & Guts. Cassidy further revealed that he has holes in his hand.

“I’m pretty beat up and busted. I can’t believe that Mark Briscoe had a match this past Saturday on Collision after all the stuff he went through. Obviously, he is tougher than me, so he can handle it. I still have, I don’t know if you could say, but I have, like, holes in my hand from where Jon Moxley stapled me. It’s like my whole [fist]; it just doesn’t clench the same. That doesn’t feel great,” he revealed. [1:30-2:04]

Orange Cassidy on how does one prepare to face Jon Moxley

During the conversation, Orange Cassidy was asked if there is a way to prepare for a match against someone like Jon Moxley. He admitted that there isn’t, claiming that a wrestler is never the same when they go to war with The Purveyor of Violence and his gang.

“There isn’t. I’ve been across the ring from Jon Moxley throughout the past couple of years, and he has always been, like, a milestone or checkpoint where I know, and I think I said this before in promos in the ring that, ‘You are not the same when you wrestle a match of that magnitude with Jon Moxley and The Death Riders. They change you.’’’ [2:43 onward]
