Speculation On Possibility Of AAA Or TNA Talent Being In WWE 2K26

WWE has made connections to AAA and TNA over the past year, and the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A makes some predictions about talent from either joining WWE 2K26. As reported, the latest iteration of the video game franchise arrives in Q4 2026. That is, for the record, between January to March.
A fan asked Sean Ross Sapp about the odds of AAA or TNA being added to next year’s game. Sapp noted that he felt there’s a “significant chance” of top or easily marketable AAA talent being added to the game, as well as AAA titles and venues. AAA is the easier guess here, as WWE is now the lucha libre promotion’s parent company.
As you might expect, Sapp felt that TNA is a very different story. WWE and TNA have a partnership. As such, TNA talent are not under contract, and TNA as a company is its own entity. Adding that to WWE 2K26 would be unlikely, though he speculated that a team like the Hardys would be possible. He also considered the possibility of a TNA DLC pack higher than a full roster.
The WWE 2K series often features non-contracted talent in its DLC packs. However, those tend to be from outside of wrestling. WWE 2K25 had several NBA stars in their second DLC pack, and streamer KSI in the third. All other DLC talent were under either active WWE contracts or Legends deals, or worked out individual deals to be in the game.
