The Headbangers will have their final match next summer, as the former WWE tag team announced on Monday. Mosh and Thrasher posted a video to Instagram and announced that they’ll have their last match at ISPW Legends of Wrestling.
The show takes place on July 23rd, 2026 in Wildwood, New Jersey. The team wrote in the post:
“Just like the #JohnCena The Time is Now tour is coming to an end, the infamous run of the Headbangers will be coming to a close next year in Wildwood!
“More details to come but if you’d like to get one of the last matches – contact me at [email protected]

The Headbangers are best known for their run in WWE that ran from 1997 through 2000. They are former WWF Tag Team Champions, and, in the case of Mosh, the recipient of one of the most infamous gimmicks of the late 1990s in Beaver Cleavage.
Since leaving WWE, the two have worked on the independent circuit. They made a brief return to WWE in 2016. Their most recent match as a team was at AIW Bang Your Head on June 7th.
