The last time might be now for John Cena’s very last match, but whoever said that Saturday Night’s Main Event had to be Cena’s last WWE appearance? WWE is now advertising John Cena for the post-WrestleMania 42 edition of WWE Raw.
The show is currently scheduled for Monday, April 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on Netflix, starting at 8:00 pm ET.
It’s unknown in what capacity Cena will appear at the show. The wrestler was in action last Saturday at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, defending the Intercontinental Title against Dominik Mysterio. However, Liv Morgan made her shocking return, helping “Dirty” Dom regain the title.
John Cena will officially wrestle in his last match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. He will face off against the winner of the currently ongoing The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
The finals of the tournament are now set, with former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther against former United States Champion LA Knight. The winner of the match will secure their place in history as the final opponent for John Cena in less than two weeks.
Gunther vs. LA Knight in the finals of The Last Time Is Now Tournament takes place at Friday Night SmackDown on Friday, December 5. The show is being held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
