Thea Hail Captures North American Women’s Title On WWE NXT

WWE has a new NXT North American Women’s Champion, with Thea Hail winning the title on this week’s WWE NXT. Hail defeated Blake Monroe on Tuesday’s show to capture the title.

The finish of the match did not go without a hitch. Hail hit a senton back splash and pinned Monroe, with the referee counting the fall. The bell didn’t ring initially and everyone seemed confused. Monroe’s music even played initially before switching to Hail’s.

This marks Hail’s first title in WWE. Monroe’s title reign ends at 53 days. She won the championship from Sol Ruca at NXT Halloween Havoc.
