More Backstage Notes From This Week’s AEW Dynamite, Bishop Dyer Replaces Another Wrestler

Fightful Select has some additional backstage notes from this week’s AEW Dynamite in Orlando, Florida. As previously reported, Bishop Dyer (formerly Baron Corbin) competed in a dark match before the live TV broadcast, teaming up with Martin Stone and Better Together against Billy and Austin Gunn. According to the report, Robert Martyr was originally scheduled to work the dark match. However, it’s said he was replaced by Bishop Dyer.

Indie wrestler and former WWE Superstar Priscilla Kelly was also reportedly backstage, as many wrestlers were, at this week’s AEW Dynamite. Kelly spoke last year about wanting to return to AEW in 2026.
