Dominik Mysterio Hopes Rey Goes Through Ladders At WrestleMania, Talks Goal In Facing Finn Balor

Dominik Mysterio has dark hopes for his father Rey at WrestleMania, hoping the WWE Hall of Famer goes through some ladders in his Intercontinental Title bout. There’s no love lost from Dom to Rey, with the two having feuded on and off for the last several years. This year they aren’t competing at WrestleMania against each other, though; instead, Rey is in the Six-Pack Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship while Dom battles Finn Balor’s Demon persona.

Mysterio weighed in on his match with Balor as well as Rey’s involvement in the ladder match on ESPN Get Up. You can see highlights below:

On His Goal In Facing Finn Balor:

“You know, the Judgment Day is very famous on quoting that we’ve never had any leaders. We’ve always done our own thing, no leaders. So I think this is to prove why we had to kick out Finn Balor because he was trying to be a leader. He was trying to call shots uh when they weren’t necessary.

“So on Sunday, I’m going to go in there and handle business for the Judgment Day, just to prove that there was never any leaders and we all are equal leaders in the group.”

On Rey’s Involvement In the Ladder Match:

“I hope he goes through a couple ladders. I hope — I mean, I wish my custody papers were up there, so I can go and win them so he never won custody of me. But yeah, I definitely hope he goes through a couple ladders for sure.”
