WWE is reportedly interested in acquiring Persephone’s services once her dual contract expires.
In today’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Dave Meltzer reported that there are already discussions within WWE about signing Persephone once her contracts with AEW and CMLL expire. The dual contract, per Meltzer, is set to expire later this year.
Notably, it was only in January 2026 that the reigning CMLL World Women’s Champion revealed that she is now signed to both CMLL and All Elite Wrestling.
Persephone’s most recent match on AEW TV was on the March 11 episode of Dynamite, where she unsuccessfully challenged Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. Though she hasn’t had only one match on AEW television this year, Persephone has been featured regularly in Ring of Honor. She recently defeated former WWE Superstar Isla Dawn in the Survival of the Fittest Qualifying match.
Notably, this isn’t the first time that WWE has shown interest in the CMLL star. Last month, during an interview with Fightful, she spilled beans on how she learned about WWE having an interest in acquiring her services.
