Brooke Hogan Regrets Opting out of Hulk’s Will

Brooke Hogan’s relationship with her late father Hulk Hogan clearly remains complicated — she recently declined to answer requests by Netflix to participate in a new documentary. As it turns out, though, she does regret one key decision she made. After her father’s death, she asked to be removed from his will.

At the time, she stated it was because she had twins on the way, and a nice new family of in-laws, and didn’t want them to be involved in legal fights with everyone else who might have wanted a piece of the valuable assets left in her dad’s wake.

Now, however, on the Hollywood Raw podcast, as transcribed by WrestlingNews.co, she has expressed that she may have made a mistake there.

“There were too many people I had solid knowledge of not being good people around my dad,” she said. “There’s not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing. I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety.”

What she didn’t anticipate, though, is that aside from any money, opting out of the will cost her the ability to be in the loop as far as any further decisions go. “I’ve never been about the money,” she said. “But because now I don’t have a seat at the table. I can’t get answers, I can’t be part of decisions, and that’s the part that hurts.”

Indeed, WWE didn’t even invite her to any of their tributes, while brother Nick has been making the rounds.
