Veteran wrestler and former TNA owner Jeff Jarrett recently shared some untold stories from his vast career on his My World podcast.
Jarrett opened up about the tumultuous period of his career in 2013 when he exited TNA Wrestling after growing increasingly frustrated with how the wrestling promotion was being managed by Dixie Carter and majority owner Panda Energy and a failed buyout attempt.
On the latest episode of his My World podcast, Jarrett revealed that Scott Steiner was the only one who batted for him in front of Dixie Carter. According to Jarrett, Steinter got into Dixie’s face and told her that she was destroying the company by letting Jeff go.
“Look, he’s, he’s his own worst enemy at times; he’s very vocal. [But] He’s [Steiner] the only one. And I’m not pointing fingers at anybody this time, but he’s the only one who went to Dixie Carter, looked her in the eye, and said, Dixie, ‘You are f*cking up bad. I’m telling you, you are screwing yourself bad [letting Jeff go].’” [H/T: Wrestling Observer]
