Trick Williams Set For Non-Title Match On Next Week’s WWE Smackdown

Trick Williams will battle Carmelo Hayes in a non-title match on next week’s episode of WWE Smackdown, as announced on Friday’s show. Friday night’s show featured Williams coming to the ring with Lil Yachty, but before they could speak they were interrupted by Hayes.
Hayes made his case for a title shot, noting that Ricky Saints wasn’t able to get the job done at Night of Champions. He suggested that he and Williams run it back and said that Williams was unstoppable only because he hadn’t decided to stop him.
Hayes said that Williams had turned the title into an accessory and that Williams should prove him wrong. Yachty said that the match would be a non-title bout before Williams said that he knows Hayes like the back of his hand and then backhanded him. Hayes responded by diving onto Williams on the floor and Yachty went to get on the apron, but Williams pulled him down.
WWE Smackdown takes place at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and airs live on USA Network in the US and Netflix internationally.
