Dana White Says Jose Aldo Has Nothing Left to Prove

Dana White praised Jose Aldo after the latter’s loss to Max Holloway at UFC 218, saying the former champion is a legend with nothing to prove. White told reporters (per MMAjunkie that whetever Aldo decides to do going forward, he has White’s full support.

“Jose Aldo is one of the long-reigning world champions in this sport,” White said. “He is an absolute legend. The guy has nothing left to prove. I think it’s one of things (where) he has to go sit down, talk to his family and decide what he wants to do next. He’s got plenty of money.”

Aldo lost to Holloway by TKO in the third round of the UFC 218 main event.
