Edson Barboza vs. Giga Chikadze To Headline UFC on ESPN+ 50

The UFC is putting together a battle between Edson Barboza and Giga Chikadze for its August 28th UFC Fight Night event, according to a new report. ESPN cites multiple sources as saying that the featherweight bout is being finalized and will headline the show, which does not yet have a location and is expected to be UFC on ESPN+ 50.

Barboza is on a two-fight win streak, having last won by knocking out Shane Burgos at UFC 262 in May. Chikadze, meanwhile, is in the midst of an eight-fight win streak and last defeated Cub Swanson at UFC on ESPN 23 in May by TKO.
