Miesha Tate Supports Cyborg for Punching Angela Magana
June 4, 2017 | Posted by
Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate was in attendance at UFC 212 and spoke to reporters in a media scrum (via MMAjunkie). During the scrum, the commented on the legal controversy of Cris “Cyborg” Justino punching Angela Magana at the UFC fighter retreat last month. Below is an excerpt:
“That was a great day for me. I thought it was wonderful. I wish she would have punched Angela harder. Yeah. Angela is a bully. She’s like a child who never grew up. I think there should be harsher consequences for people who publicly bully people on the Internet, in person – everything. I think she had it coming. I don’t blame Cyborg a bit. I hope that the legal system looks at everything. I’m team ‘Cyborg’ all the way with that.”
