No Charges Yet Filed in Cyborg Justino & Angela Magana Altercation

Cyborg Justino is not yet facing charges for allegedly striking Angela Magana at the 2017 UFC Athlete Retreat. MMAjunkie reports that the Las Vegas city attorney’s office, who is handling the incident, has yet to submit any charge to Las Vegas Municipal Court relating to the incident.

The altercation grabbed a lot of attention when it went down in May. Justino reportedly threw a punch at Magano after an argument escalated in regard to insults Magano made about the now-women’s featherweight champion’s appearance. Justino was cited by police for misdemeanor battery, but the court has not yet received a charge. There have been two continuances and the case has been pushed to September 12th most recently.

The city attorney’s office has one year from the date of the incident to file a charge.
