Paulie Malignaggi Says Talks Are Underway For Fight With Conor McGregor

Paulie Malignaggi says that discussions with Dana White for a possible fight with Conor McGregor have been had. Malignaggi, who was McGregor’s sparring partner for his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather before things turned ugly, told Fight Hype that talks had been had about the potential bout.

“I know Al Haymon’s talking with Dana White,” Malignaggi said. “I know they’re speaking, so if they want the fight they’ll make it.”

Malignaggi took several shots at McGregor after a video of sparring footage was leaked, which Malignaggi said was edited to make him look bad. Dana White denied that the tape had been edited.
