Annabelle Wallis Joins Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo in Boss Level

Annabelle Wallis has signed onto a lead role in the new action-thriller Boss Level. Wallis will co-star with Frank Grillo and Mel Gibson, per Deadline. Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces, The A-Team) wrote the film and will direct.

Boss Level follows a retired special forces officer, Roy Pulver (Grillo), who is trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death. Wallis will play Alice, a dental hygienist who hates teeth but has a huge crush on her patient, aka Roy. Since Roy has to repeat this particular day numerous times until he can figure out who is responsible and put an end to the loop, Alice is frequently part of the repeating narrative, sometimes in bed alongside Roy as the first assassin of the day that tries to murder him, as well as in other encounters with him.
