Bruce Campbell Wants a Role in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness
Bruce Campbell is known for his collaborations with Sam Raimi, and he’d continue that into the MCU with Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness. Following Raimi’s confirmation that he will direct the MCU sequel, Raimi posted to Twitter suggesting he’d like to play some sort of adversarial role as you can see below:
Huh. Surely, there must be SOME character to challenge the good Doctor… https://t.co/1ZTpfoE3te

Campbell has been friends with Raimi since they were in high school together and worked together on the Evil Dead franchise along with Crimewave, Darkman, and Oz the Great and Powerful. Campbell also had cameos in Raimi’s three Spider-Man films.
Raimi will direct Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role for the movie, which will take on a horror bent through a script by Jade Bartlett and Michael Waldron. Also returning are Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor, with Elizabeth Olsen set to reprise her role as Scarlet Witch.
