This week, Japanese studio and Godzilla franchise parent company Toho announced that the King of the Monsters will be coming to the San Diego Comic-Con this year with his first dedicated booth at the convention. This year also commemorates the 65th anniversary of Big G.

Fans in attendance will get to see the actual suit used in the film Godzilla 2000. There will also be a special piece of exclusive merchandise. Toho’s Comic-Con booth (Booth #3535) is set to feature the following activities from July 17-21:

* A fun green screen photo booth for unique social posts (#Godzilla65)
* A live mural painting by famed Godzilla artist Shinji Nishikawa
* The actual suit used in Godzilla 2000
* Props from films throughout the franchise’s history
* SDCC exclusive products
* Giveaways, photo opportunities and much more

Additionally, Toho also revealed some exclusive merchandise that will be sold at Comic-Con. The booth will feature an exclusive 65th Anniversary 1954 Godzilla Deluxe Vinyl Figure from Bandai. The figure is a new recreation of the iconic kaiju from the original 1954 Toho film Godzilla (aka Gojira). Limited quantities will be available daily at the Toho booth for the price of $30.

The figure features a limited edition translucent flake vinyl with added paint treatments for enhanced realism. The packaging is a displayable window box with a premium sleeve. You can check out some photos of the exclusive figure below.
