Knives Out 3 Gets Official Title, 2025 Release
We now know the title for the third Knives Out 3 film, and that it will release in 2025. Rian Johnson announced on Friday that the third film in the hit mystery franchise will be titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and will release next year. Netflix confirmed the news with a short teaser video, as you can see below.
Wake Up Dead Man is named after a U2 song, which was released on their 1997 album Pop. The teaser features Daniel Craig, who is reprising his role as Benoit Blanc, calling this new mystery his “most dangerous case yet.”
Netflix picked up the rights to Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man, then untitled, after the huge success of the 2019 original and reportedly paid $450 million for the distribution rights to the two sequels. Both Knives Out and Glass Onion were critical successes and earned Academy Award nominations for their screenplays.
